Introduction to REPORTVIEW Data Analytics Application

This is a short introduction of the ReportView Data Analytics Application, a tour of the user interface and an overview of a few of it's key features. The vision for ReportView is to provide organizations with the ability to give all the users a unified front end to the organization's data as well as blazing fast performance in the daily business processes. This means using a single application for connecting, interacting with and visualizing any data on any device.

So rather than constantly switching between divergent systems which can each do a small part of the job, with ReportView, organizations will have one flexible platform unifying all their data from all data sources enabling users to retrieve, analyze, transform and report data with acumen and ease.

We are providing users with a self-service, single, uniform experience regardless of what kind of data is being shown and regradless of what kind of device is being used. Finally, we're providing a solution witch is easy to integrate, customize and operate so that ReportView can become part of your process rather than enforcing it's own process and allow users to get insights faster.

The application engine runs inside a microsoft IIS web server and is accessed through a web browser. The application engine also connects to a variety of databases including your own data sources and in-memory based data warehouses and finally, the application database, which stores meta-data such as user accounts, dashboard definitions and application configuration. ReportView was designed to understand human logic patterns and present information in a concise manner and to allow it's users to easily retrieve, analyze, transform and report data in a user-friendly way through intelligent dashboards and reports.

ReportView offers the concept of "Reports", where each user can create, customize, visualize and save their desired data analytics structure and results as well as the concept of "Subject Area" which can be used as a way to separate unrelated efforts from accross one or multiple departments inside the organization. For example, two different departments within your organization may want to work on separate projects and avoid clustering all the data in the same workspace. Clicking on "Change Subject Area" allows the user to easily navigate through multiple predefined working spaces and select the desired active area of interest.

Users can start customizing each new report by dragging data labels from the left-side menu to the "Designer" workspace and then, they can easily apply filters on any type of data. It this way, the report will consist of the exact data that the user is pursuiting. More experienced users can also opt to add calculations to their report allowing them to merge, condition or modify the existing data in order to extract new found data from their original database.

ReportView also allows users to quickly visualize data displayed as "Top 100", "Top 1000" or "All Data" dashboards. This enables each individual user to have an intuitive view over the entire data pool or over each specific selection of data they wish to assess. By choosing to visualize your desired data selection in the "Top 100", "Top 1000" or "All Data" dashboards you can also quickly export you data into a PDF or Excel file.

You can instantly visualize any report created with ReportView by clicking on the "Charts" Tab and selecting the data you wish to display as well as the desired chart type. Once this is quickly resolved, you will have a dynamic graphic display of your data in the form of either a pie, donut, line, bar, area or a column chart.

Thanks to our next generation of data analytics technology, there is no need for our users to have technical knowledge in order to access and use these key features as well as many other ReportView functionalities. The application can be easily integrated and can also be accompanied by our additional Data Modeler Module for ReportView. This leaves you with the option of employing ReportView's experts or your own IT team to set up the application and have it ready in no time and start delivering valuable insights for the entire organization.
